I don't have any kids that I know of, so instead I have to spend lots and lots of money on the girlfriend.

Which doesn't change once you have kids! LOL Spending money on your girl is always the moral obligation of any man at Christmas... or birthday, Valentines Day, or Arbor Day, or just any given Sunday....

Thanks stinking "He went to Jared!!" commercials! @#$%&*

Depends on which one they got, the Peg Perego version is only available online inmy area. I searched at a couple local TRU and two other toy stores with no luck.

I'm gettin RPM arms for the Jato, Lunsford kit, Traxxas 2 stage resonator and a gallon of gas.

Not as much as I was getting at first because my mom ended up having to go and get a tumor removed out of her uterus. Luckily she's okay and thats what is important.

inexpensive does not equal low quality. That machine you posted is a very nice machine made by a very reputable manufacturer. Miller also has "cheap" machines to offer as well, but I'm sure they will weld what they are intended to. I can only assume you need to do some heavier gauge welding because that machine is rated to weld 1/2" steel which is waaaay thicker than anything most hobbiests would use it for. The Hobart I ordered (Hobart is also a Miller product line), is only rated to do 3/16" which is fine for what I intend to use it for.

ah, then that explains it, they got 'em a gattor (or how ever you spell it :P ) my bad.

Well... unfortunately the Traxxas Slash has not even once gained my kids interest to get for Christmas. Instead there are a few things that seem to be the highlight for my kids this season that seem really kewl. Sense my kids have not much know how on getting on the web and checking their dads posts on RCNitro talk, I thought I'd post the two items that seem really freakin cool that they are getting this year.

For my 6 year old, he is getting the D-Rex and let me tell ya, I can't wait to get this thing out of the box too. :D
