Well... unfortunately the Traxxas Slash has not even once gained my kids interest to get for Christmas. Instead there are a few things that seem to be the highlight for my kids this season that seem really kewl. Sense my kids have not much know how on getting on the web and checking their dads posts on RCNitro talk, I thought I'd post the two items that seem really freakin cool that they are getting this year.

For my 6 year old, he is getting the D-Rex and let me tell ya, I can't wait to get this thing out of the box too. :D

a bit of humor one here...

and for my 7 year old, he wants one of those electrics that you ride in style...

BTW, don't even start about the price tags... I cringed when they suggested these and not even giving a second glance at the stuff in the Hobby Town USA store.

My son is getting absolutely spoiled this year. I recently bought a crapload of slot car track, 2 stock cars and 2 F1 cars. he's also getting a box of good ole' fashioned Lego's and my wife bought some sort of Vtech thing... (VMotion?). Santa might bring him a Micro DT before it's all said and done as well :)

My 2 and a half year old daughter is getting toys, toys and more toys. Gotta make ALOT of space in here cuz we are gonna swim in it soon enough:whhooo:...BUT thats alright. Gotta love 'em...

Our kids are getting Airline tickets out here and of course 1 really big gift each and then a bunch of little gifts, remember we have an 18 year old boy and a 15 year old girl. There gifts are getting as much as mine :\

Oooo.... now that disturbs me for the future. I want them to stay little and just play with toys. :\ The thoughts of what they'll be asking for when they reach their teens really make me wonder. :whhooo:

Oh, here is the power wheels escalade I found one on Youtube. Not sure if it can perform like this though...

Cell phones, Laptops.... lol

LMAO that thing is drifting!

No kids, but I have three nephews and a niece. All but the niece will be getting Lego. Best toys ever made, and I think no kid should be without it.

Nothing too big though, y'all are spoiling your kids rotten. :)

Lego's, yes... very true.... Spoiling kids.... *sighs deeply* yes I know.. :\

One neice is getting a car. Her parents paid for half. The other neice just wants to go shopping, so I guess shes getting a new worldrobe. lol My nephew is getting a Revo 3.3 and a crapload of extras, fuel , etc.. Not allways like this but this year I'm kindof making up for the past few.

We made a deal with our kids (they are 9 and 11), we're cutting back on Christmas and taking a trip to San Diego in the spring or early summer. They are still getting some small gifts, a couple Wii games, books, some clothes.

Like Lessen, my son is getting spoiled this year too. The only thing he's been asking for is an iPod. Big brother has him covered on that, he won one for salesman of the month and already has one himself. I'm building a T-Maxx(see my Cheap-O-Maxx thread)for him and he's getting an electronic drum set. I know there's more but I don't know what it is yet.

My eldest son is getting a new crash symbol and stand from me (any drummers on here can tell you the good ones are freaking expensive) and my youngest is getting a PSP.

Every one got a $100 dollar limit, We had them make out a list of things they wanted for Christmas and we went from there. They all made out ok!!! Plus they will get things from the grandmas and grandpas as well...
