Yesterday, a trip to the Post Office, which is 1.3 miles away in my little town, turned into a 4 hour round trip to my favorite General Store in the mountains for a cinnamon roll .

If it's like the one I used to visit in New Hope, MO when I was younger, there should have been four older farmers sitting around a table playing "Pitch", drinking "Dew-Drop" soda, and telling whopper fish stories in the corner?...

Yeah. It's in the mountains in a VERY small community. All the baked goods are homemade by the owners. I had Blueberry cobbler with a scoop of vanilla icecream the last time I was there. Their cinnamon rolls with butter cream frosting are ALWAYS worth a beautiful motorcycle ride through the canyons.

No, that's my typing far too fast for my own good. Please excuse my misspelling of the word "General". Proof reading gets so boring . I apologize profusely.

Waiting for fireworks at Eureka Lake in Illinois. There's a food truck called The Station, I got loaded bacon cheese fries.

And this is the mini size! Ate it all though, so good. Waiting in line for Uncle Bob's ice cream now, I'll post a picture of that soon.
