I usually use bacon grease. If not available then yes, butter works too
I prefer the butter flavor to compliment the sweetness of cornbread. In @fstnd case, bacon grease is not really an economical option.

Pork tacos.

I don't know if anyone here has seen this guy's YouTube channel, but he popped up on my feed a few days ago. He is certifiably insane. There's a 4 foot Burrito challenge as well.
I have watched a ton of his videos. That 4' burrito was nuts! Where did it go?

Frozen Stouffer's SOS over tater tots. I can almost feel my arteries hardening...
Tomato may have been healthier before I slathered it with mayo!

I have always said the perfect diet for health has enough grease to lubricate your joints for better movement. It does clog the arteries, so enough salt to raise the blood pressure to push it through and enough whiskey to thin it out and make it easier to move along. I screwed everything up when I quit drinking....probably took years off my life. It's too late to turn back now.

In 2020 Dad grew a lot of chilipeppers, and some more in 2022, and they're so hot that we still have them lol. I'm really used to spicy food but like ten of these little flakes are enough to make me cry😂

But two weeks ago he used the seeds and it didn't look promising but now we at least got three little carolina reapers. The scorpion seeds aren't showing any signs yet.

sourdough starter Hermann jr.
I'm sticking to this name for of its funny history.. someone started a sourdough in the 90s, not for bread, but for a cake. The starter was a plague that went across every village in Poland and eventually reached my Mom. It was a responsibility to share Hermann with the next person. It tastes nice and a bit like alcohol, but there wasn't another recipe for it, so after making the same cake every week for months it got old until eventually Moms grandma killed it. I'll try making it once.
