Mrs. X and I went to El Criollo for Puerto Rican cuisine, this evening. I got today's special: surf and turf mofongo with garlic sauce.

 

[Doom!]

Tonight fresh bread right out of the oven, smothered in butter that has already soaked in, and Spaghetti. Mr. Doom's Spaghetti is of the basic variety with shredded cheddar.

Mrs. Doom's has an assortment of yucky vegetables.

Gorton's fish sandwich fillets and chips for dinner this evening. Sometimes simpler is better and less is more.

That toffee flavor is the burnt sugar in the cookies I think. It's like if you took those girl scout sugar cookies and cooked them another 10-20 minutes.

The cheesecake was really good. The recipe I used called for too many biscuits. But Breydon and I tore that thing up this past weekend.
