Yeah, I liked those too. They still make them.
Yes they do. I remember as a kid every time I went with my mother to K-mart she would buy me one out of the display always set up at the check-out.

I thought when you were a kid they were still serving Pteradactyl wings. 😜

I'm not a big fan of chicken breasts, but those do look good. I love the dark meat, especially the thighs.
I love any kind of meat. Beef, bacon, fish, duck, octopus... heck, maybe even @Tunedfrog's legs one day if I'm in France👌🤣

Frog's legs aren't just a French dish. We ate them a lot when I was young. My two older brothers used to go frog hunting quite a bit.

Next to turtle - frog legs is the best meat I've ever tried. Turtle meat is way above and beyond any of it. Especially the neck meat 🤤😋

What was your favorite way of cooking turtle meat?
Just floured with salt and pepper and pan fried in peanut oil. The neck alone has 7 different kinds of meat cuts in it. Some white meat, some dark. All with their own flavor and texture.

The first time I tried it was at a bar a few miles north of me. The bar was not very far from the Wabash River, with a lot of fishing shacks. I was hesitant to try it, but after trying a piece from a friend's plate, I ordered my own.

I've never cleaned a turtle, and I always took turtles to a local fisherman who could clean one in about 3 minutes. It's tricky, and ya gotta know where to cut. It was a real treat watching a pro do it. I never saw him do a Soft Shell, because the Snappers were all we ever caught. But I hear Soft Shell is very good eatin'.

On a serious note, I've never tried frog legs but have heard from many folks, they are amazing.
