My favorite fast food fish sammich is by far Arby's. But they don't have it all the time. They have a version of it on King's Hawaiian bread. OMG it's crazy good.

If you want the best fries... 5 guys. Hands down the best burgers and fries to die for around here.

Only been to 5 Guys once. Took my family of 5 and ended up paying over $70! This was when my 3 kids were all under 10. The wife and I thought the food was just ok, but the price tag was just exorbitant. At that time, we had a local burger chain, Fuddruckers, that had a value package: feed a family of 4 for $20.That's 2 adult burgers, 2 kids burgers, 4 fries, 4 drinks, 2 cookies! Excellent burgers with a self serve fixings bar and soda machines. The soda machine was one of those where you can mix a ton of different flavors. The kids loved this thing!
We miss this place. The whole family loved going there!

There are no Carl's Jr around here. The only time I had ever had Carl's Jr was at the airport in Puerto Rico. The burger and fries I had was exceptional for a fast food establishment.

They are a bit pricey, but the ones here have killer food. And I like the way they toss a little empty fry cup in the bag, then dump a shovel full of fries in on top of it. It's stupid to put the fry cup in the bag, but who cares lol.
 
Tonight, my son and I hit up a place we've been talking about: California Burrito Co. We got the carne asada fries, fish tacos, and 2 pupusas. The reviews were right. The food is really good and really fresh! I've never heard of pupusa, but it was my favorite of the 3 things we had ordered.

They had some sort of dessert cake, and I was tempted, but there was a lot of food for just my son and me.
 
I cooked up 4lb of honey sriracha wings for my son and me tonight.

Deep fried Crappie with a beer batter made with flour, crushed sour cream and onion Pringles, seasoning salt, garlic salt, and onion salt.
The good news is, it was incredible as usual, the bad news is I'm all out of Crappie but good weather on the way. Good weather means the Crappie are going to start moving into the shallows and biting.
