Trying a new to me Indian restaurant for lunch today. Himalayan Curry & Kebob

Kashmiri
Traditional mountain gravy of onion, tomato, and cream infused with coconut, pineapple, raisins & almonds with basmati rice & kheer (traditional Indian rice pudding).

Garlic and cheese Naan bread
Iced Chai - Quite possibly the best restaurant iced Chai I've had and I've had a lot.

I ALWAYS need to have my music with me. The best iced Chai.

Ha!!! Mine is not the one in @Xraycer ‘s stirfry video lol… I thought you were saying the chow mein I did up for her in my post he was referring to..

I suppose I’ll share a “tasteful” one-due to the confusion.. Cut her some slack-she had no idea I was taking it lol..

Oh what the hell-against my better judgement; I’ll equip @Xraycer with some ammo for the future..

There is absolutely ZERO doubt in my mind that it will come back to bite me with his editing skills/shenanigans..

Yeah, thats what I thought it was. I've had a couple older ones(80, 86 and a 87 iroc z) But my buddy had a really nice SLP in your body style. I loved that one. Him and I also built and painted a 84 that he had. It was candy apple red, with little stuff in the silver base coat that only stood out when the light hit it right. We also built a custom steel cowl induction hood for it.....one of a kind hood that was just different enough to notice....but stock. I think we only brought it up about 2". This was a long time ago...he had a stroke and I think his niece has the cars now. We talk a couple times a year but I haven't seen him in probably about 5. Awesome memories!

Thanks man-yeah, I hunted all over the US for that car specifically, and flew out to get it solo. Drove back 13hrs on the nose-single shot. I was spent when I got back to the house with it lol.. It was a complete build from a pristine cream puff of a 2001 Super Sport (all Super Sport’s were SLP cars) with super low miles, 6spd, Black over Ebony, with a ton of SLP options on top of the standard SS package..

I picked it for an opentrack/roadrace build that would be driven daily on the street. Drove it for just about 3mos, then tore it down to an empty shell, and got started. When I was done, it had UMI’s entire catalog (and then some), sat on Koni adjustables, Detroit Speed Corvette X-Tracker hubs, Giant Wilwood brakes, a narrowed 35spline Moser axle’d 9” Ford stuffed with an Eaton Tru-Trac, and Motive gears, along with a Tremec Magnum F (T-56 case with TR-6060 internals), Monster Twin Disc clutch, Hinson shifter, and a Mark Williams CrMo driveshaft w/forged CrMo 1350 yokes.. also kept the LS1 with factory rotating assembly, and then threw everything but the kitchen sink at it, along with a seriously upgraded ProCharger D1 setup, and methanol injection. The car put down 680RWHP, and still had ice cold A/C. I had Weld Racing build me a set of forged S71’s for it in 18x10, and 18x11, and I wrapped ‘em in Toyo R888R track tires for the duration. It was absurd for a DD-and I can put up with a LOT..

I’ll derail the thread a little bit for ya with a handful of photo’s, and a short walk-around idle clip.. (sorry to everybody else…)

The regular Robster tails were only the small side, and she wanted to try Langastino’s.. So techhhhhhhnically we did have Robster tails.. They WERE good, but not the same..
