I prefer the powder. I try to stay away from stuff with corn syrup in it.
I'm not buying into the high fructose corn syrup demonization. I feel that its targeted due to wide use by food manufacturers. I'm not saying that its not unhealthy, but from my understanding, its just no worse than an over consumption of table sugar. Its been so unfairly ingrained into society consciousness that most people thinks its the gospel. MSG is another great example of unjustified negative public opinions. Sure, you'll have personal testimonies on perceived side effects and such, but could it be just a placebo affect?

They're essentially the same thing. But if you look at how much corn is used in everything, it's shocking. They feed it to cows, chickens, pigs, etc. They break it down and include it in nearly everything we eat. Like at one point I think it was like 60 or 70% of grocery store products had some corn byproducts in it. So I avoid it as much as I can. Whole corn is ok. But processed is just bad for you.

I just find it annoying that there's just this ignorant notion that sugar is a "healthier" option than hfcs.

I got a bottle of Boone County Rye for Christmas and forgot to get into it last night. I had a quiet New Years Eve at home and had one Genesee Honey Brown ale.
