A brushless conversion from RC Madness!
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H83DVf-ly6U"]Losi 5ive-T brushless conversion from RCMadness.com - YouTube[/ame]
RC Driver came down to the shop today and checked it out, so they should have something up about it soon. Running 12s lipo, (forget which speed control), Castle 2028 brushless motor, and the RCM electric conversion kit. Motor mount is made from machined aluminum and bolts on where the normal gas engine does, and the Carbon fiber/aluminum tray bolts down where the gas tank sits and holds 2 6s LiPo's. Kit comes with the motor mount, battery tray with straps, pinion, and I'm pretty sure there's something else I'm forgetting. It's still not all 100% figured out (price wise and everything) but the truck RIPS.

EDIT:
RC Driver's footage of it going around RCM's track.

Electric large scale is very impressive, just don't think I want to give up my long run times of the gas engine. Speaking of which, what is the Losi's runtime?

runtime is about 40 minutes, very similar to the baja. running the same setup in this video (2 6s 5000mah lipo's) you'll get about 20 minutes of runtime.

Very cool to see see someone have the funds to push the outerlimits and given the opportunity I would love to have one but $1600(truck), and I am guessing about $1000 for conversion plus $400 for batteries just isn't within reason for me:D
