hey guys, theres no real problem with my tq3 except that you can't move the steering wheel to the other side of the transmiter. oddly enough i'm right handed but i can't steer with it. (mental issus,maybe) any suggestions, and is it worth going digital for a basher and what about fm ? thank you

Well... I only know of few brands of radio that is left hand convertible.

Out of those three, I'd go with the spektrum.
Others may know of more, but these are the ones I noticed a while back when reading about 2.4Ghz systems. I went with a cheaper one, the Spektrum DX3.0, but it isn't reversible. Great radio though, even for a basher. Very worry free, no glitches, great range and all the adjustments I would ever need.

i've been looking online since i posted and i'm getting the impression it's not common for the steering to be either side. all transmiters i have are sticks except for my vulcan (also right). i gonna keep looking though , i want a good radio but i dont need all the gizmos , just the important stuff. how is tower hobbies to deal with ? i've been bying from great hobbies

I've never had a problem with tower. Been buying from them for years. Then and horizon both.

Tower is decent IMO. I've done business with other places that process faster though.

buy a few parts you'll need down the road, pay the 10 bux to join the club, then wait till you get a kick butt coupon before you order the radio. You can save 50 or more on it.
