i live in a small town in michigan, and I'm goin to SC for my B-day
and i got to ask for somthing for my B-day. i don't know what 2 get 4 my maxx. I've got an FOC, Pipe, and a Futaba radioand reciever (stole off my xxx-t when i got my maxx, lol)
I either want to get a bigger and better cooling head (but once this mill takes a dump I'm gettin a sirio .18) or a motor saver air filter, pull start and a glow igniter. this has to be under $50 cuz i already got an early B-day gift and a big one, (snowmobile) so the mom n dad don't wanna spend much more.
Or one more thing would be to ask 4 the money and get associated shocks with mine and that $$
tell me what u R/C veterans think

Be happy your parents could afford the snowmobile.

Aside from that, figure out what you need most. Is your air filter shot? Is your pull start shot? Is your glow ignitor shot? Do your current shocks leak?

Figure out whats worse and get that first.

then i would have to say pull start, i have the EZ start 2 and well..... I'm not to fond of it., id rather switch to pull.
but it does also run a bit hot when it is performing good.
bfore i had my heat gun (2 tanks) I had it tuned for max performance and it was runnin great, i kept the tune the same. later that day my temp gun came. took another run. took the temp and........ AAAAAAHHHHHH 342 341 343 342 oh no!!
i thought i probably fried it, so i vented the body and richened'er up a bit and now she runs strong at 270-290 i would feel more comfortable at a 230-240 range though 4 shure
so a cooling head would be doable 2

Since you plan on getting a Sirio in the future and don't like the EZ Start, maybe the pull and ingnitor is the answer. You can then put them on the Sirio when you get it.

I aggree with robmob, why spend money on something you will replace in several weeks.

I have an idea,
ask for the money, and use it to pay for the stuff you break after you get the sirio!!
