I love my revo i have all the rpm arms and trinity pipe and all the little stuff like that. The problem is that the battery for the reciver and stuff sucks. Mine dies after like 30 min. Any ideas on what to do to fix this or is it normal. I think that the charger might have a short because the light only stays on for like 15 min. I dont know what to do and its starting to piss me off that i can't drive my truck because everything turns off so fast and all my friend keep on driveing. Someone help!
 
I had the same problem when charging the traxxas pack with the accompaniying charger. Even when charged overnight, I was only getting about 30 mins run time with it. Once I decided to just charge it with my peak charger, all was better. I would suggest getting a decent peak charger. Charge it at .08 amps and if you get one that has a mv setting (like the 959 or 969), set it to 25 mv. All your run time worries will be over.
 
Are you running dual steering servo's or single? Running single will help alot! If you already have a single than your best off getting a new charger. You can get some decent chargers for under $50 or so that will take care of your RX packs as well as stick packs.
 
It's probaly the charger and you need an aftermarket charger.

I had it stop chargeing on me once and my pack died about 15-20 mins run time. Just keep an eye on it while it's charging, I wouldn't take it for granted on an over night charging either. If the pack is completely dead, it shouldn't stop blinking 2-5 mins after charging. I'm not sure what my max run time is either but I never have an issue after running my Revo with dual servos for around an hour.

i had the same exact problem when i got my revo i called traxxas and they sauid that the charger that comes with the revo is not made to charge the battery if the battery is completaly dead and thats what i thought was my prob but i charged it on my other peak charger and it still didnt work and then i found out the battery was bad from the lhs i bought it from and then i sent the battery into traxxas and they sent me a new one and i get anywhere from 2 to 4 hours of race time on it and i still have enough juice to run it after words so i would call traxxas and ask them but how old is your revo
 
I inadvertantly left my revo sitting for a couple of months this winter with a dead battery,charging it only took like 5 min(light stopped blinking) it only ran for about 30sec. I ended up cycling it about 5 or 6 times, and it seems to work fine, I get a about 2 hours of run time, Thats with the single steering servo conv.
