I have an all original emaxx 3906. It spends alot of time sitting there. Charging up 2 nimh's to run it 15-20 mins leaves me blah for the performance it has compared to a newer stampede on 1 nimh and espescially brushless setups.

From researching a bl coversion it looks like a money pit. Motor esc chassis drivelines etc. It wasn't built for that much power. I'm not sure it would be worth the $ compared to just getting a new kit.

On the other hand.. is there an demand at all for a very good condition all original 3906? Is it even worth trying to sell?

Maybe its just best to leave it on a shelf to tell "way back in the day" stories about it when they are about to put me in a nursing home one day?

What do u guys think?

You will never get much for a used kit. That's just the nature of the beast. I've done the shelf-queen thing with some of my older trucks that parts are hard to come by.
