I just got a losi aftershock and was wondering what do you recommend as upgrades needed for the truck? Busted my engine and am going to put a new LRP 28 spec 3 engine and what will i need to handle the power? With the RPM arms do i need to convert it to lst2 specs? Whats a good pipe/header combo for it too to add extra power to the truck. Any ugrading i need to do right off the bat? Anything you know i would like to know. thanks a lot.

throw it away!!!

sike nah man go green then ill answer

sike nah, start buying some good parts for it

I have the Jammin JP-3 pipe on mine, with the Hard bodyz roll cage, and aluminum rear bumper, and the turnbuckles in the rear have been upgraded to lst2, spektrum radio and reciever, and best thing for control, get the hell away from those soft ass stock tires and grab some proline series 40 rims n tires.

Not saying do what i did, but just showing what i have done, and what i like.

tuned pipe and a trained trigger finger. your gonna flip it on its lid a couple times if your not used to the takeoff power of the lrp 28. as to wich tuned pipe? i personally run the losi and couldent be happier, but i sugest waiting on that until sombody else puts in their $.02

also look into the alum. shocks. you should be able to pick up a pair on ebay for next to nothing.

i have the lrp spec 3 .28 and love it as chuck3 said get used to the throttle it will flip onto its lid till you are used to it.get the rpm arms, roll cage, upgrade the brakes, losi tuned pipe, fail safe, motor saver air filter, aluminum shocks lst2,and the lst2 upgrade kit this is what i have and love it

almost forgot!! upgrade the fuel filter IMMEDIATLY. the stock one is a POS.

yes get the dynamite engine brace.much stronger than the cast brace that comes with the truck

I've tried a few different brake setups including the one from CNR and IT BLOWS!!!!!!!!!! Best setup I've used and its what most of the guys racing are using is a single thick disc from an 8ight like this one. as well as the LST-2 HP brake pads. I've got 3+gallons on this setup. I did upgrade the t/b servo to a 590 and the steering to 650's.
To answer your question about the rpm arms no you don't they are made for the lst / aft and you need an adapter to use them in the lst2 / mug arms
