Depending on where or what you ran on, the air filter will need to be cleaned. soap and water, dry it off and re-oil it. Most fuel out there has a pretty good amount of oil in it to keep your engine running smooth. I don't use after run oil every time I run my truck. I do it once every other week or so during the season. For the winter though, I lube the hell out of it. Bring your piston to bottom dead center after you finish running each time. Doing that will ensure that you keep good compression a lot longer in your engine rather than letting it cool down with the piston completely in the sleeve and staying expanded over time. You can ensure that you hit BDC by taking off the cooling head, turning the flywheel until you see the piston at the bottom of it's stroke then marking the flywheel with a sharpie or paint, something so that you know that's the point. Then it'll be easy to find it without a doubt when you put it away each time. Hope this helped...
