Hi everyone
I am looking to buy my first nitro car and can't choose between a stadium truck or a monster truck.
Mojority of the time i will be just bashing around doing alot of jumping probably.
Money isnt really an issue cause i want to get a good one straight out, does anyone have any suggestions?, whats the best for jumping? and what are the good models out there???.
Up until now i have been pretty keen on the Team Losi LST2, any comments on these trucks? are they as good as theyre made out to be?

thanks

Welcome to site. Ya might wanna surf around a little bit or run a search and read some of the pros and cons from each one here on the site. If you plan on doing some racing (with a Mt) a Revo is a good choice. If looking to bash (with a mt) a Savage will be your best bet. As far as stadium trucks, the Jato is crazy fast but I heard is kinda hard to handle. A Rc10gt is also a awesome rig and theres TONS of parts out there for it. I'm a basher and love taking the jumps and throwing the dirt so the savage was best for me. Is a awesome truck!

the class "stadium truck" now has 2 categories...the typical 1/10 scale 2 WD stuff and now Truggies (1/8 scale stadium truck).....I say truggy....all around racer / basher in one....the CRT is a nice kit....

Bashing and jumping, the best bet would be a monster truck. You can do plenty of that with a truggy, but a monster fits the bashing jumping part better.

I have the LST 2 and its one heck of a truck,I know a few who shop at the same hobby shop I do and all they say is the LST 2 is a great truck.Make sure the screws under the belly are tight and threadlock holds them tight. This is a minor issue to me,and a few have noticed the same thing.

In the truggy departament the HPI Hellfire is one heck of a nice truggy, built tough and looks mighty capable out of the box.My next RC I am picking up.

You have many other choices,I like the Savage SS alot too,the tough guy among the trucks. You add your servos/radio combo.
Worthy of mention would have to be the new Revo with the bigger engine that came out.I have the 2.5 an am very happy so far.

In truggies you should consider the Ofna/Jammin X-1 CRT,a proven top of the line truggy.Kyosho has the 777 truggy comming up,should follow the famous buggy footsteps so to speak.

Whatever you decide from the above group you should have a fine machine and plenty of fun with it.

Thanks for your help guys,
I've opted for the LST2 only just arrived at the hobby shop in perth(Western Australia)
and the Hellfire isnt here until next month
Behind the times over here in AUS
