Wow thanks guys! Glad for the help. This T-maxx is just such a mess. I dont know the condition of anything. Next I guess is servos, and upgrade the radio, this one is warn and seems sluggish. The servos dont even turn the tires while not moving...
 
That's pretty typical with the stock servo. It gets the job done, but just barely. Most upgrade to something with at least 130oz of torque like the Hitec 645MG or JR 650M (JR Sport 126M, cheaper 650M with same specs). The best you can do is disconnect the servo from the saver and make sure nothing is binding by hand.
