my engine temp is running around 250 degrees, is that a tad too hot and should i richen my engine up more??

250 is a good temp to be running at. The ideal temp is somewhere between 220 and 260. If you run your engine hard for longer periods of time expect the temps to spike some while doing so.

I have found that my HPI 25 engine works best at around the 230-270 range. This engines runs rather hot; even the HPI manual has 270 in their "normal temp range".

I run 30% with an OS A5 plug and it has helped by permiting my engine to run richer while maintaining awesome power.
