my tmaxx bottoms out after an 8ft drop what springs can i get to make it not bottom out. also i dont want it to bounce. the shocks had just been redone we i drop tested it.

Anything will bottom out with an eight foot drop. If you find a set of shock springs big enough to keep it from happening I would love to see 'em.

"Bounce" is rebound and is something you want in your shocks.

True you can't buy springs that will prevent the truck to bottom out on a 8ft drop if you can i bet they will effect handling negativly like a mo fo. Try using thicker Shock oil and try using a stiffer spring. Expeirment is they key my friend. I use bigBores with white kyosho buggy springs and the light blue LOSI springs. It's been good by far yet to mention a thicker oil. Also keep in mind that you have the different Shock pistons to mess with. Like a two hole piston with 50wt oil or even up to 60 wt to dampen ur travel when it's dropped.

yeah though i would have to get titanium shock shafts to handle that force on the shocks

okay how about what are the best aftermarket shock kits

I went with a four shock 1/8 buggy shock setup. It works well.

i just installed these heavy blue springs from evilbay that have 8.5 ppi of tension. but i think i made a mistake cause these things are stiff. anybody else use them?

Only install 4 then use 4 of the stockers on the remaining shocks. 2 heavy/2 stock on the front, 2 heavy/2 stock on the rear.

That should help soften it up a bit.
