i had a little bad luck with the CP2 lasted one bashing session and the flat bed section popped through what other shells out there fit as well as the CP2 on the revo anyone used the escalade by proline or the ford 150?

if you go to proline .com they will tellyou all the bodies that fir good on the revo if you want to go cheap get the stock revo unpainted body and run that

yeah thanks i was kinda hopeing to get view from you guys that have actually tried certain revo shells apart from cp2

the description of the escalade on thier site seems a bit dodgy not sure if its gonna fit well they are using a tmax in the picture....and i want a shell thats going to be bang on like the cp2 but dont want to get one of those again for some strange reason i can't get the stock revo shell anywhere in the uk :ponder2:

How'd you tear it up so quick? I ran a CP2 (the same one) all season last year racing every weekend. It held up quite well.

CP2 is 040 material. I don't think you will find much thicker out there. And design wise, there are little known poor stress points, too. Only other body I have had success with is the stock body, but it would not last as long as the CP2 even.

Parma has some .60 but thats the thickest I've seen and that was opnly on a select few. I take it your bashing on concrete/tar??

yeah its very strange my cp2 is broke the whole flat bed piece fell through landed on the roof a few time and before I knew it the flat bed piece was just hanging off...most of my mates are running the cp2 and there’s no doubt it a very tough shell just unlucky I suppose, one session is very harsh I’m gutted did a good spray job on it as well I can't even take it back because I got it from eBay (might be the reason it broke who knows) I want something that fits as good (made specifically for the revo) or I have to just get another cp2 :ponder2:

Well one reason body makers are fadding out .060 Lexan is because of price . On my last Lexan order I added 3 - .060 4'x8' sheets (aparentley made of solid gold LOL) I think I paid less for my first Real car! Do you guys like .060 that much?

the thicker the better D i have a proline on my savage for like 4 or 5 months now. and its just now starting to show signs of damage. the stockers wouldnt hold up 2 weeks.

I thought the nose of the CP2 was .060 and the rest was .040. I know cutting the front is a bitch compared to the sides. Check J Concepts Illuzion or something like that.

Frank (jet) I wasn't going to say it, but I thought the same thing. It seems like the CP2 has varying thicknesses on certain areas, like the tail and rear spoilr material too. So I guess I was right. Most of the sides and non critical areas are 040 but the front, back and spoiler are 060.
