gonna get the xb8 and i need to know which servos to get can anyone recomment the any plz list type and manufacturer ty

sorry to be a peepee but digital or analog??? hitec digital would be the 5925mg fastest for throttle and plenty of torque, non digital, AKA analog I would reccomond the 925mg

JR 8611 for steering
Futaba S9451 for throttle/brake

those are what I'd recommend....about 200 for both.....

I would recommend a Airtronics 94358 for steering and a 94357 for throttle/brake.

1st off how much/little do you want to spend????? That will go a LONG way for us to help you.

JR (590m on t/b, 9000 or 8611A steering)=3yr warranty or AR (357/358)=never seem to fail. both not cheap. but nothin bout buggy should be cheap. unless u run on a very nasty track, then a cheap motor.

good luck

Ryan, that 590 is really kinda slow. The AR are GREAT servos, and Hitec has a great return program. I guess if you are getting a XB8 you will not want to skimp on servos. Then digital is the way to go. The new JR line look to be REALLY nice, the Hitecs, and the AIR servos are the ones I would look at.

Here is a older servo chart, hope it helps

I run a 590 for T/B on my Storm and on my Revo, no problems with it on either vehicle. You might give a little on speed with it but it has great torque for braking, as well as it's only about $40. I use a 650 for steering on the Storm as well as a single steering servo on my Revo, works great and is about $50.

jetmech, Have you ever tried a really fast servo for throttle brake??.....if not you really should.....that's actaully the servo you want to be fast...not so much on th esteering......the faster throttle servo gives much more control in the air for sure......in races you'll find your self getting on it quicker for shorter lead ups to jumps and be able to gap over people on bigger triples and such.......well when you go to the bigger engine any way.....

Ko Propo 2344 for steering, Airtronics 94737 throttle. Its nice for the KO, you can just buy a bag of the plastic gear instead of the entire gear set.

I mentioned this in another forum, and was nearly shot on site, but I found a dirt cheap servo that works well. Try looking up Blue Bird servos. Nitrohouse has them, my steering one is [email protected], with metal gears, a heatsink, and was under $40.00. They also have units that are [email protected] and [email protected] for the same price (or less).
