Savatage, Moxy, Dio, Alice Cooper and of course AC/DC. For some of the harder stuff.

Like a lot of the bluesier (sp?) stuff: Stevie Ray, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Gary Moore, and Jeff Healey. Even got some old Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker.

Most of the classic rock. Seger, Eagles, ZZ Top, Sabbath, Bad Company, Hendrix, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin.....
Don't play any Bob Dillion, The Who or the Doors. And please no "Freebird." I used to like Skynyrd. But they have wore that one out!

Showing my age now. Hell I haven't heard of most of the bands that were listed.

As of right now-THE CULT(PURE CULT)this is my most listened to
METALLICA
KORN +STAIND
LINKIN PARK
LIMP BIZKIT
WARRANT
KISS
JOE SATRIANI
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS
EVERCLEAR
TRAPT
I have a pretty diverse selection of music(currently over 400 discs)but when workin-metal is the go!!!!!!Nothing like a squealing guitar and pounding drums to lift the spirits....just some of my favourites

On my MP3 right now.....

Get yourself a copy of "Electric" and "Love", superb albums and vastly underated.

Don't ever drive your car to "Love Removal Machine" though...its a license loser for sure.

Right now these guys are in my ipod rotation

Steely Dan
Debarge
The Eagles
Eric Clapton
Fleetwood Mac
The Isley Brothers
Jamiroquai
Kem
The Prodigy
Rush
Tito Puente
Afrika Bambata

Every month or so I'll throw another mix on the ipod and listen to just that until I get in the mood for something new.

I'm not even going to attempt to list the bands I listen to so I'll just post the genre's.

  • Rock
  • Alternative
  • Country
  • Rap
  • Jazz (I like Frank)
  • Instrumental
  • Blues
I think that about sums it up nicely.

I just got the entire Frank Sinatra collection as well as the total works of Ray Charles.

I had to swap out some Pink Floyd, Zep, Elton, Cash, and Coltrain to get them all on my I-pod.

I've got a decent collection of Frank already - I'd like to expand my Ray Charles collection though.

I was just about to ask you where you got your collection - over here it's hard to find them, more so Frank.

I agree, Charles earlier stuff was a lot better IMO.

Listening to IZ right now. Great music to listen to when camping, too. Weird to listen to IZ while camping in the middle of nowhere inthe So Cal desert.

I also have a collection of Western Movie Theme songs as performed by the Polish National Symphony. A real pick me up.

Listening to DK's last night while changing servos out on the Wing.
