I am looking for a decent tuned pipe for my 4.6 any sugestions. What about a hpi ribbed pipe and what is the difference in a ribbed pipe.

I didn't personally care for the HPI ribbed. Made my engines run hot and made me deaf for a couple days afterwards. Gave decent power on the low side, but not much power anywhere else.

Hum

I, personally, have the ribbed on both of my savages. It is really LOUD, but dont mind it! That way everybody knows that is a mean machine rollin around, LOL!!!:)

I tried a few Tsais pipes that were supposed to be made for the bigger blocks ( I tried the Sirio .27 and Fantom .27) and after smashing 2 very expensive pipes I tried the ribbed pipe and liked it better...yes it made my rigs run a little hotter...I noticed it wasn't too bad if I didn't WOT for longer than 3-4 seconds......I have a like new one I'll throw you for 25 shipped if you want to try one...

Hey,
Well i got 2 polished alloy HPI pipes, one for my 4.6, one for my 21. There pretty awesome. Don't get ribbed, ribbed will just make it so loud u wont even be able to hear someone talking. They increase the performance of the truck, so yeah get a HPI polished alloy pipe!

Heres a pic of the pipe on my x 4.6:
