What is that little gear down there called?

I'm downloading exploded views as soon as I get access to Better connection don't wanna annoy anybody with what this what's that and the other posts lol. But what is that little gear

That would be the spur gear. It got damaged most likely by the engine moving causing the two gears to clash. Really not a hard job but if you don't have a clue YouTube is your friend.

Actually the little one is the clutch bell,the bigger one is the spur gear.

Well I'm glad I asked I thought it was the spur. And YouTube is a real friend for me in this hobby. YouTube and this site are definitely gonna help master this thing lol

Does it have a steel spur gear?
If yes you need to order a Hardened steel clutch bell or you will be replacing it again rather quickly.

Yes it is. You can also note the spur by the fact it is attached to the transmission.

With a steel spur gear you will need to buy a new hardened clutch bell, or put a plastic spur back on it & you can use a non hardened bell then.
