I've got the Foward Only Conversion from traxxas installed in my tranny too and never had any problems like that?
I'd say start from the crank and work your way to the wheels:
1. gas it and watch your Bell Gear.
a. does it move? Yes , move on to the next step. No, fix your clutch.
2. gas it and watch your spur gear and slipper.
a. does your bell gear properly spin your spur gear. if not, check your mesh.
b. check that your tension nut on the inputshaft rotates with your spur gear. if not, slipper could be too loose.
3. if all of the above looks to be in good order, you could have a problem in your tranny. Pull it apart and take a look inside. Folow the factory diagrams to make sure everything is put together correctly.
4. check your drive lines and axels. I've already had to replace mine because they twisted and bound up....All of them did.
5. Check your Diffs.
added stuff, I recently (this week) had a wheel bearing blow up and it was causing a binding in my rear end....it would take alot to get going and would pull to one side when I got off the gas.
