I have done trucks, boats, plains and cars but never a buggy. I want to get a buggy but don't know what it the best one to get. I am more of a basher than a racer these days. So what is a good buggy to start off with that there are lots of after market parts?
:ahh:

the OFNA Hyper series is a good entry level to advanced rig....loads of after market and setup support.....If you want to run it on that "next level poop" style bashing where you jump trucks and houses....I'd suggest a beefier rig like mugen, Kyosho or Xray.....I've personally either drove each of these or seen each of these rigs take crashes that would mangle other RCs and drive away with a smile from wheel to wheel.....

I got a Jammin X1-CR FTE a month ago or so. Great Durable buggy. very well made, easy to drive, flies better than some RTF Planes and is crazy fast with a Jammin JPX .21 motor.
both my neighbors just got RTR Losi 8ights. also great buggys. a few issues to watch for iwth an 8, burnt throatle servos, drive shaft issues, with cross pins falling out.
but the RTR rung very well. just go thru it and cheack everything out well first. locktite the motor bolts, check linkages ect..

the CEN Matrix is a pretty decent rtr for the costs. i really lik emy cen CT5 onroad.

the Muegen and Kyosho and Jammin are prolly the 3 top 1/8th buggys in the world with the Hypers and Losi 8s being right behind them.

I bought a used X-Ray XB-8 from another member for a song and love it. My recommendation is to buy something used from a reputable member here.

that little rg 21 in that buggy is great,I have one and ran it up here in our expert class and got 2nd place,it runs so good idles great and you can use all the power it puts out,not over kill like all the other os 21s...I will never get rid of my rg its fun to put in and run every once in a while!!!!!!!!!!!!
