I might half to jump to a different thread.. but if by chance any one knows what interchanges with hosim x15 it's a basher like truck 1/10 scale I bought for my son ..we are looking to upgrade the control arms from plastic to aluminum just wonder if there is any one with experienced with those things

Post pics so we can compare with our rigs and parts. 👍
Chinese cheapo rigs typically are awful when it comes to spares. Also Aliminum arms are an awful choice. If you put those on you’ll end up breaking something else that’ll be harder and priceier to replace.
Aluminum a arms are imdeed a bad idea.
Stay with plastic. 👍
Plastic bands, then it bends back.
Aluminum just bends and stays bent.
I have an aluminum shock mount thwt came all the way from China. I waited weeks for the stuff to come.
I installed it all, rolled the car once and the rear shock tower was bent beyond repair. 😐
The harder material does just push the energy of an impact thru it to the chassis which is WAY harder to replace if it gets broken.
Plastic will bend and absorb the same impact much better, less energy transfer.
When its time to put it on the shelf, THEN aluminum to the hilt! 😍😎
There are parts like servo savers that aluminum parts are stronger, don't flex and bend and get you tighter steering. Aluminum isn't always bad.
Get rid of your plastic hexes and put in aluminum asap! 👍
