Stoked for you to get one, I almost bought one. Legit had it in my shopping cart. I'm just not sure about the whole surprise thing. As some of their kits and rtr's are not what I want or I already have. Anyhow the vrd straight axle builder's kit will be here in August. Just wanna build a nice trail truck for my 2 year old. Not sure how much more the old bruiser is gonna take

Funny part is: I did the "trucks of fortune" back in 2022 and got a VS4-10 Phoenix Portal kit. I actually sold, regretted it, and contemplated buying another one a while back, so it worked out great. So glad I got a kit and not an RTR!

Unfortunately no. Vanquish aluminum is extremely expensive. Just the plain axles are $140 each. If you add the third members and knuckles/covers then that would be an additional $250.

I'm thinking a gun metal grey/black accent paint job would look great with those burnt orange wheels...
