Or you could say LRP isn't anything but a re-badge of Losi with blue cooling head and higher price. Go ahead and cite me for thread-crapping because I am not with the program, but I'll say it again: it's one thing to look for an engine when you are need of one...and another to look for an upgrade to your existing.

Two known racers in this thread an neither one actually speak to the op without quoting someone else....

He asked for advise on an engine for $200 or less, without using what someone else said or commenting on anyone else's thoughts can either one of you guys give him advise on an engine for $200 or less?

I'm looking to get a new Nitro engine for my savage XL, not because my old one is crap, i just want something aftermarket with a little more power and something that i could just stare at when I'm not running it.
What engine would be a good one above a .28 for the price range of around 200 buckaroos, with plenty of bottom end and high end torque

I would say a stock LRP 30 or 32.........

he could get a lrp or picco for less than $200 if he shopped around. nova, probably not!

I've heard the LRP .32 is the best decision out of these for the price and power from my local hobby shop, and other people around here who are in the hobby

Ill be a statistic of the .32 after I get the right weather and temps for break in...

Tower Hobbies has it for $179 I think and Easy Pay so you dont have to fork it all over at once.

my LHS has a new one 149. they sell everything underpriced than other places I've seen, i dont understand why... maybe cause its in Poor ass ohio lol

I paid a little over $200 each 2 years ago , for 149 you should stock up:)

do they do justice in your opinion?

If you are a basher you will be happy with the power , I do a lot of 10 to 30 foot jumps , engine gives me great air control and never had any problems with it.
Wheelie at any time in first gear very easy to put it on its lid and wear safety glasses there will be some flying rocks and dirt :D

when starting and burning the first 10 tanks it will help to pre heat the engine with a heat gun or you will have a hard time , pinch is very tight.
All so the Integy Billet Machined 7075 Clutch set I found to be a good match
