hi peeps,i have just bought a new traxxas revo 3.3 and was advised to get a picco.26 red dot and was assured it would just slot straight in.it obviously doesn't so does anybody know what mount i need to get forn it to fit??

You'll need a big block motor mount. I used the Traxxas kit, though others use the mount from New Era. You'll also want to add the forward only conversion kit to help strengthen the transmission.

what motor you running in your revo?
is it pull start or bump start?

I just recently put a picco .26 red dot in my Revo. I used the Traxxas big block conversation kit I did have to cut the last hole off the motor mount and use a little longer return spring for the throttle but other then that everything fit perfect and i left my reverse and so far no problems I've been running it like that for about a month with a 16/36 gear combo and it flys I can almost flip it like I can my little Erevo

i've just fitted the picco mount and altered the gearing to 17/36.the engine fitted right in and seems to have meshed perfectly without any alterations.even the ez start slotted straight on to the new motor but struggles at tdc,i assume this will ease after break in complete.

My ez start still has problems spinning the motor over but I help it by blowing air through the fuel line that hooks up to your exhaust till I see fuel go into carb then I start it and it usually fires right up after like 2-4 sec after I hit the button
