What Do You want out of Your Savage Parts?

I was wanting to know if you could customize your savage parts what parts would you do this to? Wheels, TVP's, shock towers, motor plate?

I want to know because I am in the midst of getting my machine shop up and going and will soon start making custom Savage parts. I know there are places out there that machine there parts but they are all generic. I will offer machining to the users want. So what would you guys like customized?

A better roll bar that goes from center to the rear. One that mounts behind the shock tower. If I had a welder... I'd have made a bunch like that for my revo, savage and aftershock. As it is, I just have to bend a single 5/16" steel rod and figure out how to mount it.

Also, some rear turnbuckle eliminators. They used to be all over ebay, but now they are gone. Simple design to make if you have the tools, not so simple if you don't.

Nice, I have never seen the turn buckle eliminators abut I could make those easily and a bit better. I will work on an idea for a better roll bar.

The ebay one was universal, so you didn't have to fit it to a specific side of the truck or side of the arm. Kind of a nice but simple way to do it. If you want a bit of toe in, you just put a few washers behind where it mounts to the arm (if you put the eliminator on the rear of the arm that is).

New Era has a nice roll bar, but how it mounts is kind of hokey:

Then it would rely on both front and rear towers for horizontal support.

Although, they both solely rely on the shock tower to keep it from moving forward and up. I like how I have mine mounted better. The base of the steel rests on the top of the rear bulkhead so any rearward impact directs the force into the base of the tower/bulkhead where all the solid stuff is vs the very tip top of the tower. There design I would think would blow shocks apart and doesn't provide any protection at all for the rear tower/shocks.

Then again, since mine is a 1" HB TVP chassis, I couldn't use the rear mounted one anyway. Not that I would want to considering where it mounts... Only if I had a welder...
