what do you think of os max .15s?

man i just put my first hop up in my rc 10 gt about 2 weeks ago- a brand new o.s max .15! it WILL pull wheelies on command, anywhere. in fact, i had to get some stronger driveshafts and axles cuz the dam thing twisted them.so... what do you guys think about this engine? is it a good start? any known problems that may arise that i should know about? what do you guys think?

i personally like the engine. I put one on my brother's nitro rustler for his first nitro car. (hes 30 years old). The engine had good power, but he ran it too lean for too long, now it has no power. I have a .21 in my rc10gt... love the power.. so far, everything has held up except the top shaft... shredded that..

i love this engine. but i can't really say much because this is the most power I've ever had. but i enjoy not having to hit a pothole on purpose just to raise the front end. whats the best replacement parts for that stupid steering linkage that comes on the pre built? mine has the metal rods with a plastic cup at each end an pops onto a ball. i keep having to replace driveshafts cus the camber angle rods are the same way and they pop off all the time.

Those are great engines. They hold a tune exceptionally well. I have had several of them over the years, and loved them.

Get some captured ball ends from someone like racers edge. That should do the trick. if you want more, get a set of titanium turnbuckles from Lunsford.
