Hey guys, I have the Trininty NT Reflex Pro and I just got a motor for it.
I picked up a O.S .12 TR (turbo head)
The engine is running 1.40 hp
with a dinamite .12 super pipe wich my lhs said it would boost the HP to 1.45.
My friend Greg @ the lhs came to the track with me a few days ago, and I raced against his fully modded serpant, and then he ran my serpant against my Reflex, not a chance in hell. We clocked the Reflex at 62mph at the end of the straight. My other cars have not seen over 55mph for that matter. Great car. What do you guys think of the car? Have you seen them go, or do you not have any intrest in them?
Peter.
P.S. I love this hobby now that I have experienced over 60, I am getting a .21 for my off-road, think I want to try it in the Reflex to see the speed numbers.
My next goal is to fully mod the .12 for it and I want to hit 65.
The track I go to could use a 3 speed if I wanted to, should I try it?
Is it worth it, I know it isn't for a short track, but is it more for bragging rights then speed?
Thanks in advance.
Peter

That's awesome... The gearing also makes a difference. That's some track if you're able to get it to go that fast. Must be a long straight. Speed is great and all, but how does it do on the tight corners? If it were me, I would sacrifice speed for handling. But you said you had a serpent as well, so I guess if you race the serpent, you can do some parking lot trashing with the Reflex...

I play with the HPI SS for play and the serpant for racing as well as the Reflex.
The reflex is fast, it got to that speed and was fast in the hole shot to. It handles better than the serpant as well.
Its way faster and it handles like it is on rails.
It is a great car.
Just wanting to know if the three speed is more for looks?
It is cool, mugen, I will send you some pics a.s.a.p.
It is suck a well built race car.
Thanks Trinity.
I want as my next project to have it hit 65 mph and still have the handling.
Wonder what car would want to take this car on?
Thanks
Peter
P.S. Mugen, pics will be sent to you tonight.

Sweeett.... I wanna see what all is different with the pro kit. The only thing I could think of is roll bars and better shock setup... I've already upgraded mine and milled some aluminum pieces. I'm able to get to the 50mph range on the course we have. I think our longest straight is like 15-20 parking spaces. Parking lot spaces... Then our turns.

Why does it make you jelous?
You can get any car to go that fast and handled well if you find the right set-ups and put the time and lots of money might I add.
I wanted a fast, good handling, and different car from everyone else, and I got it. (poop loads of money)
Peter
P.S.
I can't seem to add the pics, will keep trying!!!!!

What engine are you planing to mod? I never liked the Relex for some reason, I will take the V-1-R/RR over the NT any day. It depends on how big the track is, are your currently running on the max speed on 2nd gear and still there is a lot of track left?

For pics you just go

or you could upload it from your gallery if you want.

Akina, what engine mods do you mean??
I actually have a little gear left to go at the end of the straight.
First I hit 62- then I went back and I was driving more agressive and I hit the 65 mark.
If the track was a little longer, I could go over 65, don't know how much more, but it would.
Peter
P.S. Thanks Kellen, I will try that.
