Hello this is my first post here, I have been lurking for a month or so and now I have a couple of questions.

I got a Savage 25 3 weeks ago and am absolutely loving it, the Savage gets used as a rough terrain/rock climber/basher vehicle. The thing is I cannot decide if I buy lots of hop ups for the Savage now, or get another truck (backup / racing truck)?

The truck I think I will get (if I dont choose the hop ups for the Savage instead) is a Losi XXX-NT (or perhaps a RC10GT). I kinda want a stadium-truck for racing, and think the Savage will be very expensive to upgrade to a racer anyway.

So what would you do, get a super Savage or another truck?
I dont have other R/C cars, but I have 4 R/C planes and with them I have found it very usefull to have several models because damage repair takes planes out of service for days and sometimes weeks.

Thanks.

Edit: oops! I accidentially posted in the wrong forum, could a moderator move this to the general NITRO forum please?? Or could the next person reading this please report me so they will know as soon as possible?

Do you plan on doing a lot of racing? In my opinion the XXX-NT or an RC10GT aren't really made for bashing.

It depends on who to talk to as to how much money you will need to convert the Savage into a racer. You are only limited by the amount of cash in your pocket.

EDIT: Oh by the way...welcome to RCNT.

Yes the second truck would only be used for racing and some racing practice. The Savage is plenty of bashing fun in itself.

The point is I really can't spend much more on RC cars after this 4-500 dollar purhase, atleast for some months because of other bills and stuff like that.

I thought I would spend the rest of the money on the most essential Savage stuff, like a failsafe, servo saver, different oils, spare weels etc.
