what do i need to get when i buy the slash? what does the slash come with?

You will need batteries and charger. If you're going to leave it stock then a couple or three NiMh batteries, 7.2 or 8.4v. The bigger the amperage the better. If you're not sure thats the big number on the battery. Aim for 5000mah or better for good runtime.

I think the 7 cell is the way to go, just remember after running it a while to let it cool down for a minute. The 8 cells are burning up the titan motors after being run for long periods of time.
