ok guys.. i got this o.s. .12 cv really cheep (read: free) it has decent compression and almost anything is better than what i got on there.. i want put it on my nitro sport.. the nitro sport comes with a factory .15 pro.. the flywheel nut has a shaft built into it that holds the cb and a e clip holds everything on.. I'm sure you traxxas guys understand this... anyway.. how would i go about putting the .12 on?? do i have to buy a new flywheel/nut/collet/clutch/ect.. if so how do i hold the cb on?? do i use a nut?? (all I've ever worked on are BB with the little screw that holds the cb on.. ) or do i cut the shaft so that i can use whats on the .15?? I've never messed with small block motors so I'm all new to this.. thanks for your time guys...

thats what i got on the .15 but on the os 12 i got a long theaded shaft not a short one..

put a nut on the end and cut off the amount of thread you dont need then unsctrew the ut to fix the threads

Yep, Its "Dremel Time"

Mr T

well i got it on there.. had to do so much modding it wasn't even funny.. had to trim the motor mounts, and the chassis, also had to cut the shaft.. but i had to cut a nut down first so it was thin enough to go on there. plus it was so f*in hot that i was standing still and had sweat pouring off me.. i was in the garage and had all the doors open and a big ol fan blowin on me..

ran it for a bit, its to lean and kept dieing on me and then my ignitors started dieing cause i friggin forgot to charge them..

anyway it goes.. not sure how much better but it does run lol thanks for the help guys..
