@nikko508 while i love the savox line of servos and would say if you have the coin to get one do it,if you are on a budget or can't justify spending a large amount on a throttle servo for a t maxx the traxxas servo i mentioned will do the job quite well.
i have had a 2070 have a throttle servo for about 2 years and have never had a problem,and at the price of them i find it hard to beat

I respect that very much, not everyone will or wants to spend a lot of money on parts for a toy, but, if you are trying to build a good product you will look for a good part. 17 dollars is not expensive at all, but again, you can find a lot of good servos for just under 40 dollars, thats only 23 dollars more for a servo thats probably 10x better and stronger. I've had traxxas servos last me 1 week and traxxas didn't want to do anything for me, i broke a hitech servo in a crash after 4 months and hitech took care of it with no problems. Also the more expensive servos are rebuildable for just about 20 dollars.

i totally agree with you it is better to spend a bit more up front on something that will last,but not everyone has that belief i was just giving a suggestion that was a bit more budget friendly:)
 
No one is faulting you for do it, i was giving my opinion, thats all. Thats what this site is all about. It's all good.
