i am getting a savage x soon. I have a brand new os .30 to put on it, and I'm going to be running big joes on mambos.

i need to know if anyone is running this setup or close, and what cb/spur you are running. I'm pretty sure this mill will pull a 18t cb. but I'm unsure if i should go with a 49 or 47t spur. it will have the stock 2 speed for now.

thanks for your help!

run the 18/49 on there. thats what I'm running and i have wheelies on demand. I'm sure you will 2 with the .30 on it.

no i dont have a 3 speed. i have the mill, wheels/tires, radio, and reverse

47 spur on my savage 25 with the wasp28. also have the 3-speed transmission & pulls wheelies in every gear if I'm not carefull.

so you guys think the OS .30 will do 18/47, with a 2 speed? i am debating the 3 speed in the future.

I never ran the OS 30 in a Savage but in my MGT anything over 17/49 it wouldn't pull it on topend..It sounded like it was flat.(No rpm's).I wouldn't try anything much over 18/49.
