I'm looking for a 1/8 scale nitro buggy and I'm looking for one that is under 400 dollars and I'm looking for one that is really durable and very long lasting.

ok I've decided i want an rtr and the one that u suggested me is a good buggy and I've decided that ill buy it

glad i could help, I've seen them at my local track and there beast. fast reliable and strong, also they have good part avalibility, nearley every modelshop stocks hobao hyper

Losi 8ight would be the BEST buggy that I've seen in a LONG LONG time. You could probably find one on ebay or somthing for pretty cheap.

Yeah the D8 is amazing so much less then the competitors and runs right with them

hey guys - i am just getting into nitro rc....

i am looking for a 1/8 scale buggy under 250....what are brands and models that i should be considering? ?

not much unless you go used.. always remember the cheaper you go the more stuff is going to break on you!!!!

what about a hyper 7? or an ultra lx2?

ideas?

and just as an estimate how fast do these types of RTR's go ?

I'm no expert but imo both are very good choices. i had the same issue 4 months back on the same buggies. i went LX2 and have not regreted it at all. as for speed your looking about 35-45 mph at a good tune. i dropped an axial .28RR-2 into mine and its a beast. peace
