hi guys, need some help??? I'm from the uk and need a a decent rechargable battery for my reciever box. i seen people say that with the hitec 645 steering servo it will turn the wheels with standing still/ mine dont. but i am using truckzilla wheels? any help on a decent batt would be great.

Check Ebay for 6v 5 cell humpbacks. If you search for "6v battery" you will find some great deals. Make sure they are humpbacks and they have a splitter on the battery so you configure it to charge without opening your receiver box.

The higher the mah the more runtime you will get, I would say anything 1100mah and above will last you a day of bashing with that servo before you need to recharge. I would stay away from Ni-cd more maintenance and more bother than the Ni-Mh and you only pay a fraction more. Ni-cds have a memory so if you dont discharge them the capacity shrinks if you will. Ni-Mh is non toxic also were cadium's (Ni-cd) are very toxic.
