Hi
I have a V2 Starterbox with Twin-motor for 1:8-1:10 and I have a 3.5 hpi trophy buggy bit might get a 1:10 on road soon. I was wandering volts and amhere (rpm I gues) suits the car best? the starter box company reccomends a 11.1v lipo. But I hav a 20 year old 7.2 charger. Is it worth it to pay 90-110 dollars for a 11.1v lipo+40-50 for the charger or will a 7.2v 50-60 dollar battery and the old charger do the job. I can´t recall the output.
Thanks in advance!
And sorry about my bad english

I stay away from lipo's, my experience with them isn't the best- In my Trophy 3.5 I've got a 6.0v 3000mah... works well for me- but there's no need for an 11.1 volt lipo, as most servos only support 6v, some 7.2v plus with non lipos you don't have to buy expensive balance chargers

I use a basic old 12 volt gel cell in my starter box for my revo.
