The REVO is actuaally a gift for someone who I am trying to bring down out of the clouds ( A park flyer) His wife constantly complains how expensive planes are, So I am going to convert him :)

And yes. The same guy worked both deals. He was selling them both on Ebay, had not gotten one sigle hit and was desperate. i can be a quite convincing person come Holiday time...

Annnnnnnnd, anothere edit :)

After I cleaned all the crud off the chassis and got the tranny off, I really got to looking at the truck. This thing, like I said before is really compact and tight centered. I love those beefy drive shafts, but it seems like one brake pad will not even come close to stopping this beast. I have already talked with a couple people who really think the O.S 18TM can really haul all out, So expect to see a FS thread for the other mill SOON. Man, tower has thousands of aluminum hop-ups all across the board. I am going to post some pics this evening (FINALLY got the damn camera back... got it home and couldn't find the little USB cable for it Argh.) so you guys can see all the crap this dude did to the model. I realized the ductape wasn't to hold the tranny on, but to actually hold the throttle servo to the tranny cause the mount is jacked up.

Actually, the T-Maxx brake was notorious for flipping the Maxx on it's lid as it was so powerful for it's weight. I know my wife did it when she was doing the break in on her's.

Sounds like you scored on the engines alone. The OS .18tm is a MONSTER. Just make sure your piston/wrist pin is shimmed. Open the engine up and make sure there is no damage to the bottom of the conrod (there was a thread all about this in either the Revo or the Powerplant section; I ferget which).

You'll enjoy the t-maxx, it's a really fun truck. Just make sure you have the wide-maxx arms on it (you can tell simply by the number of shock mounting positions on the shock tower... if it has 1, it's a narrow... more than 1, it's a wide). They make it all the much harder to roll the truck over on its' side.

Hey tweak check my for sale thread....the plaids useless crap one (thanks eddy,,lol).....there's some T-maxx parts (BUlkless set/tranny/chassis/chassis braces/Integy towers) listed at the bottom of the first post......let me know what you need and I'll give ya a good price.....
BTW STAY AWAY FROM ALUMINUM ARMS....they do nothing but destroy the maxx......they seem to do well on other trucks but the maxx is real compact and gets torn up when it cartwheels w/ alum a-arms.......

I'll second the aluminum A-arms statement from the Grumpy Fish! My brother HAD a pretty nice set on his rig at one time. I think they gave him $.73 at the recycling center after he trashed them. IMO, stay with the stockers or go RPM, but that's just my opinion.
