I hear a lot of guys putting wd-40 on their tires to soften them up. I know i saw chip say it once. How do you go about doing it? Does it help enough to do it? I know for quads and stuff they make stuff to make the tires have more grip like grip softener or something like that. Wonder how that would work.

At the local r/c track they use something called ''Goat Pi$$'' to soak tires in. It's a compound treatment for 1:1 dirt track racers, I have used it and it makes tires super sticky. The problem with the stuff called ''Goat Pi$$'' is that in makes sand stick to your tires which can help or hurt you.

The M2 compound hammers perform a lot better than the M3 compound hammers from what I've heard from all of the serious crawlers that I've talked to. In fact, the hammers caught a bad rep when they came out in M3 compound, and then the M2's satisfied a lot more people.

I Run the Losi's and Hammer M2's and they're plenty soft for me with the right foams.

Good to see you back to form, Charlie!
