hey has anybody ever heard of flex shield it's rubber spray in a can it's the stuff that as seen on tv you can spray it on stuff and its sposted to waterproof anything 100 percent I was thinking on getting it to waterproof my servos so I was just seeing what you guys think of it ? and if any of you guys have used it before I seen on tv late night but they sell it at Walmart to for 12 bucks a can

I've seen it, I thought about lining bodies with it. Watch some videos on YouTube, guys are using Plastidip. Just remember, it'll probably void any warranty. If you have good servos, it may be better to just grab some waterproof Traxxas servos for winter.

Pretty understandable, for being sent from my phone.

99% of the time, the water gets in around the output shaft. the rest of the case is easy to seal, but the output shaft is always an issue. I tried balloons, plastidip, spray coat stuff like flex shield and rtv on all the joints/screws. But, to no avail, water always found it's way in through the output shaft. I did my best to find proper o-rings to put under the horn, but eventually, water would get in.

Now I buy servos that are o-ring sealed for the case/screws and output shaft like traxxas waterproof ones and hitec 985mg's. I recently picked up a hitec HS-5646WP servo, but haven't gotten it yet to see. I'm hoping they put o-rings on the output shaft or I'll be pretty annoyed. I don't have lipo, so I won't be able to leverage the higher voltage it can handle, but buying it at nearly $25 cheaper on ebay than the 985mg... figured I'd give it a shot at least.
