:surrender I have a Revo 2.5 and about a weeks worth of R/C experience. I bought the truck used and after about five minutes I hit my daughters sandbox and broke a front upper A arm. I fixed that, ran it about 30 minutes and hit a big mud puddle. A few seconds later I went to take off and it wouldn't move. I shut it off and now it won't start. I took the glow plug out and poured out a lot of what I hope was fuel(not water). I have cleaned the obvious and let it dry out, still won't start. Any obvious things I am missing?

Clean/dry/relube the air filter? Check the glow plug and make sure it works. If it did suck in water, the cold water hitting the plug inside the engine could snap it. They are pretty fragile considering what they are for.

put a bunch of after run oil intoo the engine and turn it over. make sure the exhaust is not full of water

If you sucked muddy water into the engine, it 's ruined. It takes one little fleck of dirt, that's it. You need to replace all the bearings and the piston & sleeve in that engine.

After two days and some tinkering it finally started. I covered up the exhaust for a few seconds at a time while trying to start it and it eventually sputtered to life. It seems like I did not do any permanent damage. Thank you to everyone for your replies and help.
