they just pulled out a summit with a camera strapped to the roof. They are at the salt flats at a military testing area and cannot walk around so they are gonne drive!

I'm suddenly reminded of the Thunder in Paradise episode, where the one guy blew up the mine detecting robot, and the look on his face when he realized that now he'd have to find the old land mines manually.
