I have heard mixed opinions on this mill but know this: Its not race legal. I am not a racer so I could care less. I have a Picco 26 in my PCR pro but I am going to get an Os Engine or a Novarossi 21 for my MBX5. Still pondering that for myself.

with the right gearing it should work. i looked at one in the lhs a week or so ago and it looks i-damn-dentical to the fantom .27. you may wanna compare pricing between the two if they are the same. usually in these situations you can save a few bucks on one or the other. even though i didnt hold them side-by-side, they do look the same and I'm sure there is some info somewhere that can verify if they are.

i talked to a fantom rep yesterday and was told that all of their mills have more low-end than what they were previously selling. thats good news from what I've seen of their motors in the past.

I had my hands on one the other day checking it out I noticed that the plugs are larger plugs compared to the standard size found in smaller engines like the Wasp .26
A friend of mine got one for his buggy and as we tried breaking it in, we went to switch glow plugs with a spare new OS #8 he had and it just pretty much dropped in the hole til we compared the thread sizes and found out the original plug was much larger. So if you get this engine, be prepared to spend on a completely different glow plug than the rest of your engines use.

Powder King, I just got my wasp .28 the other day and it's a direct drop in on the 777 spec 1. The plug is different in size because it's a turbo plug so your standard plug will not fit. The Wasp.28 only comes with the turbo head button.
