A few weeks ago i wrecked my tmaxx. Lost signal wot across the parking lot found curb you know the story. So about a hundred bucks later including a fail safe its up and running.I can't seem to keep the temp down.I noticed that the carb had slid out some fixed that checked the back plate and that seems ok.When you look down the carb the slide is just about closed and it still running. I put all the carb setting back to factory to start over but no luck.I noticed one thing when i hold the truck in the air it revs up nice but under load it boggs down.Thanx-Marc

The bogging typically comes from rich conditions. The temp issue may be from an air leak. Seal the carb with a high temp silicon sealer.

Use some RTV Silicone. I also had that problem on a mill. I had to seal the carb and backplate as recommended by a fellow member and friend of mine here on the forum.

Whatever you do, use use it in very small amounts. Do not get any of it inside of the engine.

Start your engine, and with it idling, put your finger over the carb inlet. If the engine doesn't die immediatly, you have a vaccum leak. Check the O rings on the pinch pin that holds the carb tight, and also check the O rings around the neck of the carb. It may have another O ring down in the throat of the crank case.... I can't remember.

You also need to check the High speed needle and your banjo fitting where the fuel line connects to. Make sure everything is tight.

There he is!! Hey Bill! Just wanted to say hello. Mills are backordered like crazy. you know that story.anyways I sealed my 2.5 mill as it had an air leak as well. Learned to check that from Bill. :D

Thats cool Jon. I have my P3 back up and running again. I would like to have another one though, so let me know when they come in.
