i got my duratrax warhead in a couple days ago and am now on the 4th tank of break in. i just finishing owning my dads revo 2.5 and his was broke in.. this truck rules..will post vids later on...

what kind of tires would you guys recomend for the truck..i got swamp kong from imex and there realy big but have lots of traction in snow but want something and little smaller for ditch driving or back country fun,,, any recomendations?

i have a set of mgt tires mounted on a set of maximizer beadlocks on my warhead and they work great for bashing gives the truck a nice footprint

sweet. I'm gonna look into that later today after the final tank. thanks for your input:)

I use Bowties also on Maximizer Beadlocks. Plenty of traction.

i just got some bead lock tires with dirt dawg tires..(they look like bear claw quad tires) and they rock..I'm going threw 3 inches of snow with ease.. can't wait to see wat the swamp kongs do in snow. i have a vid that i will post soon for you guys too

Them swamp kongs are pretty huge and are really hard on servo's. You should upgrade servos to a very high tourqe one if you plan on running them. Id imagine your stock servo wont last very long with them huge tires.

Sounds like you're running it a little hard for only the 4th tank

was only at 3/4 throttle when doing it..just breaking in by specs and turned out i beat his truck by a mile lol. it is now broke in and i leave him in dust now.

what kind of high torque servoes would you use for them.. the warhead evo comes with a high torque servo and doesn't have much problem with it.. but will help lots with a higher torque servo

hmm my steering servo just siezed with those stock tires they give you..any sugestions wat might be wrong..the servo is strieght and still moves but with plyers lol..its realy hard to move. dont know wats wrong with it now. guess its a drag racer now till its fixed lol

Check this out..great deal

Honestly, them tires are going to be hard on ANY servo. There just too big. Theres alot of different tires out there that would be a better option and handle alot better than them, plus be less harmfull on your servo. IMO them tires are for looks.
Check out Prolines 40 series if ya wanna go bigger, but yet not too big. Theres alot of cool 40 series rims and tires to choose from.

lol..i got 2 heavy duty servoes for them..making a dual servo set up for it so it should be a bit easier on it.

dang..the roto start is swrewed again.. gears stripped again.. anyone know why metal gears would strip so often with roto start
